Identifying and Collecting Information Sources
Identification of information sources and custodians is imperative in collecting relevant material. IE Discovery employs a uniform, fully documented interview process of custodians to develop a comprehensive list of all potential information sources. This process includes exploration and identification of relevant files, document and data triage, and immediate onsite collection when necessary. We can also act as liaison between counsel and your organization’s IT department to assist both groups in the collection of responsive information in an expedient manner. No matter how big or small the collection effort, our standardized approach and methodology, combined with experienced staff, means your collection efforts are professionally managed. Experienced collection staff can be onsite quickly to support your forensically sound and defensible information collection activities.

Chain of Custody Preservation
Sanctions can occur when your organization cannot demonstrate the proper handling of documents and data to prevent spoliation. IE Discovery provides tracking and documentation from original source of all information through production, including preparation and execution of supporting affidavits when needed. We use forensically sound tools from the point of collection through processing and production to ensure credibility and accountability at all times.

Litigation Hold Implementation and Follow Up
The implementation of a litigation hold is an important event and should not be taken lightly. It is no longer sufficient to issue a litigation hold and fail to follow up, or to collect from a custodian once and assume you are done. IE Discovery staff will implement the hold, provide follow up support and training, monitor the hold and update procedures, and provide documentation to support your litigation hold efforts.
